This vehicle-specific electrical kit is precisely matched to your Renault Rafale E-Tech and is assembled to fit this vehicle.
A 13-pin electrical kit with vehicle-specific plugs is pre-equipped with an interface for the auxiliary power functions and is supplied with a 13-pin socket. For 7-pin trailers, we recommend the use of 13-pin to 7-pin adapters such as the mini short adapter (MVG item no.: 515).
If the supply of electrical consumers in the trailer (e.g. a refrigerator etc. in a caravan) is to be ensured, a cable kit for additional power supply (MVG Art. No.: 555e) is additionally required for 13-pin electrical kits.
Vehicle-specific electrical kits ensure a secure connection between towing vehicle and trailer; the installation instructions for a vehicle-specific electrical kit describe exactly the installation steps that are required for the respective vehicle type and thus help to keep the installation effort as low as possible.

Electronic warning device

Unlike the C2 indicator lamp and the acoustic warning, the electronic warning device signalizes the non-function of trailer indicator lights. A failure of the blinking lights is indicated to the driver by a double blinking frequency in the indicator warning system already installed in the vehicle.

With Parking assistance system

Yes

A parking assistance system helps the driver park by means of optical or acoustic signals. With most electrical kits this parking assistance system is automatically de-activated to avoid any misinformation. This switch-off function can be regulated via the micro-switch in the socket or via the control device.
